Carl R. Conquest, Sr., 73, of West Conshohocken, PA passed away on Tuesday May 30, 2017. He was born in Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr, PA on October 18, 1943. Carl has lived most of his life in West Conshohocken, PA. He worked with Keystone Mack as a mechanic and auto body shop foreman and then opened his own business Carl's Body Shop. Carl was a jack of all trades, and a craftsman in woodworking and welding. He enjoyed going to car shows and was a member of Stunods of Pennsylvania Street Rod Club, the National Street Rod Association and he raced cars in his youth. Son of the late Walter & Kate (Wack) Conquest Survivors include his Beloved Wife of 50 years Helen G. (Gibson) Conquest West Conshohocken PA Daughter: Christine (& John) Hawksworth Gilbertsville PA Daughter: Carol Conquest West Conshohocken PA Grandchildren: Ashley (& Larry) Bengough, Samantha Hawksworth, Damian Conquest & Briana Conquest Also survived by his great grand dog Nala and preceded in death by his grand dog Madison. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19425. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM & Tuesday morning, Jun 6, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
