George Henry Wilbar, III of Plymouth Meeting George Henry Wilbar, III, 86, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Mercy Suburban Hospital of East Norriton. Born in Harrisburg, PA on January 23, 1929. He was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church of Norristown, Pa. He was a Marine Sargent during the Korean War. He was a former store manager of Sears Roebuck of Norristown and Abington. He was an avid golfer, and a longtime member of Plymouth Country Club, where he was Past President. He was also an avid wood worker and built many grandfather and wall clocks. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Marian (Tarr) Wilbar of Plymouth Meeting, Sister: Eleanor Fennell of Voldosta, GA, and Brother: Robert Wilbar of Leesburg, FL. Along with his parents, George H. Wilbar, Jr. and Edith (Buck) Wilbar, he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Jane Hegley. Services and Interment will be announced at a later date.
