Obituary of Mary Pacifico

Mary (Petrino) Pacifico , 89, of East Norriton, PA passed away on July 2, 2015 . at Einstein Medical Center in East Norriton, Pa, with her family by her side. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, she has been a Norristown area resident for the past 40 years. She was a secretary for the former Sperry Corporation for 29 years, retiring in 1984.After her career with Sperry Corp; she then began another 20 years of employment with Sears Department stores for 20 years as a manager. A daughter of the late John and Marianna Petrino, she was born in Trenton, NJ on December 16, 1925. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony Pacifico. Mary was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in East Norriton, where she was a member of the women’s guild. She was also a member of the Holy Savior Church Senior Club and also with the Blue Bell Retiree Club. She was the active and current President of the Homeowners Association of Kendrick Hills in Norristown. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was very outgoing and enjoyed life and would help anyone in a time of need. Survivors include her Daughter: Linda Centrella Daughter: Bernice (& Daniel) Vicario Brother: Frank (& Connie) Petrino Brother: John (& Marie) Petrino 3 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren 3 Great Great Grandchildren She is also survived by Several Nieces & Nephews & Great Nieces & Nephews She was preceded in death by a Brother Ralph Petrino and a Sister Lucy Harris. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:30 AM from the St. Paul RC Church, 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown, Pa 19401 Fr. Harry E. McCreedy will be officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the church. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary’s name may be made in her memory to: St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 2007 new Hope Street, East Norriton, Pa 19401.
