Walter C. Cassey, Jr., 75, of Norristown, PA passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He was born in Norristown, PA on October 8, 1940. Walter has lived in Norristown, Pa all of his life. He attended Norristown High School, class of 1959. He served in the US Marines, where he was an expert rifleman and received the Good Conduct Medal. He was a life member with Fairmount Fire Co. of Norristown, Pa. In June of 2014 he celebrated his 50th Wedding Anniversary. Son of the late Walter C. & Jean (MacArthur) Cassey, Sr. Survivors include his Wife of 51 years, Marcia (Horn) Cassey of Norristown PA, Daughter: Victoria (& Patrick) DiFerdinando of Collegeville PA, Daughter: Pamela (& Gus) Toudouze of Hamilton NJ, Brother: Richard (& Cynthia) Cassey of Port Charlotte FL. Also survived by 7 Grandchildren Kimberly, Abigail, Christopher, Rachel, Emily, Matthew & Megan And his Great Grandchildren Austin & Colton. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. Friends may call on Saturday Morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg, PA at a later date due to the weather.
