Philip had been living in Gladwyne for 9 years, formerly of East Greenwich, RI, Wyckoff, NJ and Brooklyn, NY where he was born and raised. He was a faithful Catholic and a member of Saint John Vianney Church of Gladwyne, PA where he attended daily Mass. He enjoyed golfing at Radnor Valley Country Club. Philip worked as a Financial Executive for CVS, David's Bridal, and most recently was a Partner at ARC Properties. Over the course of his career, he mentored many others and truly cared about those he worked with. He was funny, hardworking, and loyal, and left a mark on many. Philip was a genuinely good husband, father and friend who will be dearly missed.

Philip C. Galbo , 65, of Gladwyne, PA passed away on April 24, 2016 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 10, 1950 to the late Dominick and Jessie (Moccio) Galbo. Philip had been living in Gladwyne for 9 years, formerly of East Greenwich, RI, Wyckoff, NJ and Brooklyn, NY where he was born and raised. He was a faithful Catholic and a member of Saint John Vianney Church of Gladwyne, PA where he attended daily Mass. He enjoyed golfing at Radnor Valley Country Club. Philip worked as a Financial Executive for CVS, David's Bridal, and most recently was a Partner at ARC Properties. Over the course of his career, he mentored many others and truly cared about those he worked with. He was funny, hardworking, loyal, and left a mark on many. Philip was a genuinely good husband, father and friend who will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife, Joan Galbo of Gladwyne, PA; daughter, Elise Galbo of Ardmore, PA; son, David Galbo of Phialdelphia, PA; daughter, Kate Galbo of Boston, MA; brother, Jimmy (Margaret) Galbo of Queens, NY; brother, John Galbo of Brooklyn, NY; brother, Joseph (Mimi) Galbo of Boca Raton, FL; sister, Agnes (Ed) Burch of Monroe, NY; and two cousins, Charles and Carmella Inghilterra. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11:00AM at St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Road, Gladwyne, PA 19035. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Thursday from 9:30AM to 10:15AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Interment will be private.
