Obituary of Thomas F. Collins

Thomas F. Collins, 90, of Collegeville, PA passed away on May 21, 2016. He was born in Frackville, PA on June 18, 1925 to the late John and Irene (DeLong) Collins. Thomas lived most of his adult life in Collegeville. He was a faithful parishioner of Saint Eleanor Church and prayed the Rosary daily. He enjoyed watching EWTN, was hard working, and always took care of his family. Thomas is survived by his wife, Helen Collins of Collegeville; daughter, Gale Collins of Collegeville; three sons, Thomas Collins of Eagleville, Gerald Collins of Collegeville, and Mike (& Tracy) Collins of Royersford; sister, Bernice Waddell; brother, Ed Collins; four grandchildren, Kevin, Shannon, Michael, and Brendan Collins; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Marie Collins; granddaughter, Keeley Collins; two brothers and two sisters. His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in Limerick Garden of Memories. Thomas lived most of his adult life in Collegeville. He was a faithful parishoner of Saint Eleanor Church and prayed the Rosary daily. He enjoyed watching EWTN, was hard working, and always took care of his family.
