Obituary of Jean A. Young

Jean A. (Hunton) Young, age 85 of Conshohocken, died Monday, January 21, 2013 in Bryn Mawr Hospital of Bryn Mawr, PA. Wife of the late James B. Young, Sr. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 20, 1927, daughter of the late Florence M. (Lawser) and William H. Hunton. Jean has lived in Conshohocken since 1953, formerly of Philadelphia where she was born and raised. She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken. She was a homemaker most of her life and also had worked with Sharps. She was Past President of Conshohocken Little League. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, sewing and was very talented with arts and crafts. Jean took very good care of her family especially her late daughter Christine. She is survived by sons, James B. (Linda) Young of Sassmansville, and Robert F. (Patricia) Young of Gilbertsville; daughters, Anne (George) Casavecchia and Joyce (Michael) Borzelleco, both of Coonshohocken. Also survived By 10 Grandchildren, & 6 Great Grandsons . Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother Jerome Hunton and 2 sisters Leah Biggins, and Janet Rutzahen . Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. from the St. Matthew's RC Church Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken. Clergy: Fr. J. Thomas Heron officiating. Friends may call Saturday Morning from 10:30 -11:30 A.M. at the Church. Interment will be private in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken.
