Kenneth has lived in Conshohocken since he was discharged form the US Navy in 1946 He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church He served in the US Navy during World War II, where he recieved the European Theater Ribbon with 1 Star, Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, & World War II Victory Medal. Graduated of Conshohocken High School He worked with C & D Battery for 38 years, after retiring he worked with Certaineed in Blue Bell, Pa Kenneth served as the head of Civil Defense for Montgomery County. He was a Life member of Washington Fire Company, where he was Past President and he started the ambulance service. Kenneth was also a member of Conshohocken V.F.W. Post #1074

Kenneth H. Chabaud, 90, of Conshohocken, PA, passed away on Saturday September 10, 2016. He was born in Hartford, CT on February 3, 1926. Kenneth has lived in Conshohocken since he was discharged from the US Navy in 1946. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He served in the US Navy during World War II, where he received the European Theater Ribbon with 1 Star, Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, & World War II Victory Medal. He was a graduate of Conshohocken High School. He worked with C & D Battery for 38 years, after retiring he went to work with Certainteed in Blue Bell, Pa. Kenneth served as the head of Civil Defense for Montgomery County during the Cold War years. He was a Life member of Washington Fire Company, where he was Past President and he also was detrimental in starting the Rescue Squad at Washies. Kenneth was also a member of Conshohocken V.F.W. Post #1074 Survivors include his Wife of 63 years Elizabeth F. (Kotlinski) Chabaud Conshohocken, PA Daughter: Catherine Riley Conshohocken, PA Son: Kenny Chabaud Pottstown, PA Son: Marty (& Trish Duncan) Chabaud Bridgeport, PA Daughter in Law: Nancy (Fondots) Chabaud Conshohocken, PA Also Survived By 5 Grandchildren: John Riley (Danette), Kenny Chabaud (Danielle), Kristy Frank (John), Kevin Chabaud, Kaitlyn (Jesse) Weidamoyer & 6 Great Grandchildren Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother Frank Pinto. His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 1:30 PM from the Fireman's Memorial Hall At Washington Fire Company, 15 West Hector Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 1:30 PM at the Memorial Hall. Interment will take place in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: the "Chabaud Family" c/o 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428 to help with final expenses.
