Ann E. Filon, age 75, of Schwenksville PA passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020.
She was born in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia on August 15, 1944, the daughter of the late Leo J. and Bertha (Rider) Filon.
Ann has been living in Schwenksville since 2018, formerly of West Norriton, PA where she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church. Prior to her retirement, Ann worked as an Administrative Assistant for Hartford Steam Boiler and AIG. She was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians of Swedesburg and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Petaccio of Limerick; son, John (& Yolanda) Hammond, Jr. of Sellersville; daughter, Kerry Vargas of Dushore; brother, Leo "Reds" (& Claire) Filon of Roxborough; sister, Claire Spratt of Lafayette Hill; sister, Maureen Filon of Limerick; as well as seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret Filon, Patricia Bolger, Gene Filon & Jack Filon.
Her Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.
Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
