Gregory J. "Gig" Mazzochetti, 95, of Conshohocken, PA passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021

He was born in Conshohocken, Pa on March 12, 1926, the son of the late Anthony and the late Frances ( Matucci ) Mazzochetti.

Gig was a lifelong resident of Conshohocken. He was a longtime member of SS Cosmas & Damian RC Church and now a member of St. Matthew's RC Church.  He graduated from Conshohocken High School, class of 1944.  He served in the US Army during World War II, where he received the Army Occupation Medal for Germany, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, American Theater Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.  He was a member of the Andrew Lanutti Veterans Post, Conshohocken V.F.W. Post # 1074, and a Life member of Washington Fire Company. He was best known as an Auto Mechanic, he still fixed cars well into his 80's.  He worked with E F Moore Chevrolet and he retired from Lee Tire and Unisys.


He was the husband of The Late - Philomena ( Pastella ) Mazzochetti. 

Survivors include, Daughter Judy Hack of Bridgeport, Son Dr. Ralph (& Mindy) Mazzochetti of Myrtle Beach, SC, Son Paul Mazzochetti of Conshohocken, Daughter Gina (& Donald) Sabia of Plymouth Meeting, Grandchildren Joanne (& John) McKenna, Frank (& Kristy) Hack, Carly Mazzochetti, Philomena Mazzochetti, Nicole Miller, Thomas Mazzochetti and Dominic (& Destiny) Costa, great grandchildren Madelyn Sterner, William Sterner, Violet Hack, Brysen Hack, and Ryan Miller, also survived by many nieces and nephews.


Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a son Gergory J. Mazzochetti, Jr. and 2 daughters Dolores"Dolly" Mazzochetti and Paula Mazzochetti and a brother Michael Mazzochetti.


His Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Wednesday Evening, March 24, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Thursday Morning, March 25, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the church. 


Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
