Elsie M. Czarnecki, 87 of Conshohocken, died Saturday, April 24, 2021, at her home with her loving family by her side.
Wife of the late Walter A. Czarnecki.
Born in Long Beach, California on April 1, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Nickles) Hanto.
She lived in Conshohocken for the last 66 years, formerly of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia.
She was a member of St. Matthew's R.C. Church of Conshohocken.
She worked as a secretary for many years.
She was an avid Eagles fan and she also enjoyed the Phillies. Some of her hobbies included, gardening, knitting, crocheting, bowling, playing cards and a shot glass collection from around the world given to her by family and friend. Her collection included approximately 1500 shot glasses.
She is survived by daughters: Helen Czarnecki of Conshohocken, Frances Czarnecki of Kathmandu, Nepal, Patti (Ken) Rozecki of Collegeville, Carolyn Czarnecki of Glenside; son Walter J. Czarnecki of Collegeville, eight grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters Helen Hanto and Mary (Norman) Kimball.
Her funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, Third and Fayette Streets, Conshohocken, with Monsignor Ricci officiating.
Friends may call Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Church.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
