Sante N. Delmoro

Sante N. "Sandy" Delmoro, 89, of East Norriton, PA passed away surrounded by his family on  Thursday, April 10, 2025, and is now home with the Lord.

He was born in Minersville, Pa on January 18, 1936, the son of the late Nazzareno and the late Ida (Galassi) Delmoro.

Sandy has been living in East Norriton since 2011, formerly of the Black Horse section of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. and he grew up in the Connaughtown section of Conshohocken.

Upon graduating from Conshohocken High School, Sandy enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp. and served our country in the Korean War.

Sandy was most passionate about his family especially spending time with his grandchildren and his special relationship with his many nieces and nephews who knew him as "The favorite uncle".  Along with his love for riding and training horses, Sandy also enjoyed hunting, boxing, horse races and playing cards and Bocce Ball with his friends.

He worked as a Truck Driver with the Teamsters Local 384.  And after retiring he worked as a painter.

Though he may no longer be with us, the impact of his life and love will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.

Sandy and his beloved wife of 52 years Olympia M. (Martarelli) Delmoro.

Survivors include his beloved Wife Olympia M. Delmoro of East Norriton, Sandy was the devoted father of Daughter Paula Moreira of Blue Bell, and Daughter Dana (Keven) Koniewicz of Plymouth Meeting, Beloved Grandfather of Keven, Jr., Christian (Krysta). Joseph and Julia, and the proud Great Grandfather of Olympia Koniewicz.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his dear siblings Nicholas, Paul, Phyllis, Mondo and his twin brother Bruno.

A celebration of Sandy's life is to be determined: waiting upon the arrival home of his grandson who is over seas serving our country in the US Navy.
