My condolences to the Borzelleca family! He used to live at 105 East 4th Ave next to my Dads apartment house. I used to play with him before we started kindergarten at Hervey S. Walker in our yards with my niece Lisa, and my nephew Joey, who lived at 109 East 4th Ave. We always have a great time because Eddie was a lot of fun! Once we started kindergarten, the school yard was a lot of fun .
We then went on to give the St. Matthew’s grade school nuns snd teachers a run for their money especially in 2nd grade when we had many teachers. Kevin Kelly, Eddie, and myself were very active at that age! I can still picture Eddie and Kevin hanging on the cloak hook for punishment by the nuns and teachers. As the St. Matthew staff would grab children by the hair for us not listening : Kevin and Eddie by the hair, them yelling at them: Get off my hair now we have to get the dust pan and brush and sweep it up ! They were the good ole days! Eddie was a great kid to share my childhood with for many years! The rest of his family were great as well!
I am sorry I didn’t get to stay in touch as we got older, because as we all know : Life is too Short, and Time flies by very quickly! RIP my East 4th Ave friend, my fond Eddie memories are with me Forever and Ever!
