Obituary of Dennis A. Toomey

Dennis A. Toomey  

 

Dennis A. Toomey, 88, of Spring City, PA passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

 

Dennis, formerly of Conshohocken and Rochester, died peacefully at home on July 15, 2025. 

 

He was born in Annapolis, MD on January 1, 1937 to John Edward and Mary (Mendall) Toomey.

He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Naval Reserve and retired from Xerox Corporation.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years Deborah (Bradley), daughter Jayne (Doug) Dumbleton, sons Dennis (Phyllis), Michael, Bill (Jana), Brian (Meghan), Tim (Cheri), their mother Jane Gisel, stepdaughters Kristen (John) Zamichieli and Carolyn Bovell as well as 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

He was predeceased by his parents, brother John Edward Toomey, sister Mary Welby, brother Joseph Toomey, his loving daughter Donna Doerner Woodruff and grandson Timothy Toomey.

His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.  With Fr. Charles F. O'Hara officiating. 

 

 Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.
