Obituary of Frances Santoro

Frances Anita Santoro  

Frances (Scarnato) Santoro, 92, of Collegeville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026, with her family by her side. 

She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, the daughter of the late Corrado and Lena (Toro) Scarnato.

Fran, formerly of Port Reading, NJ, worked as a legal secretary with Levinson & Axelrod, P.A. of Edison, NJ, for over 50 years before retiring and moving to Collegeville, PA, to be closer to her family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Charles M. Santoro in 2016.

She is survived by her loving daughter Charlene and son-in-law Robert of Collegeville, and her cherished grandsons Matthew and Andrew DiSanto.

Fran enjoyed reading, shopping, and traveling with friends. However, her most favorite pastime was playing the slot machines at the casinos. She was an excellent cook who loved sharing her meals with family and friends. She was quick to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed doting on her grandsons and frequently attended their concerts and sporting events.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
