Obituary of John J. Fields

John J. "Jack" Fields  

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John J. "Jack" Fields, 56, of Whitemarsh Twp., PA who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

 

He was born in Norristown, Pa on February 11, 1970, the son of the late Richard W. and the late Margaret Ann (Dougherty) Fields.

He was a life long resident of the Conshohocken area.

Jack was dedicated to his children, siblings and extended family.  Jack enjoyed golfing, boating, barbecuing and spending time on the beach.

Jack was known for his infectious laughter, fun loving spirit and unwavering kindness.  There was nothing Jack would not do for his family and friends.

 

He worked as the Director of Public Works for Whitemarsh Township. 

 

His survivors include Daughter Kate Fields of Conshohocken, Son Baker of Roxborough, Son Trevor of Plymouth Meeting, Brother Chuck (Jennifer) Fields of Plymouth Meeting, Brother Sam Fields of Oaks, Sister Debbie Rey of Turnersville, NJ, Sister Evie Hirschmann of Hatfield. Also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

 

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Billy and Butch.

 

There will be a Celebration of Jack's Life on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Springmill Fire Co., 1210 East Hector Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428.

 

Interment will be private.
