L. Sayre, then as a was a self employed Truck Driver with DS Trucking and also worked as a Truck Driver with Schultz Enterprises He volunteered with the Conshohocken Soap Box Derby for many years especially when his children were involved He was a avid Motorcyclist and supported toys for tots, he most enjoyed spending time with his family especially spending weekends on the beach in Ocean City, NJ

David B. Stevens, age 62 of King of Prussia, died Monday, May 6, 2013 in Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania of Philadelphia . Husband of Margaret (Maguire) Stevens. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 26, 1951, son of the late Ann (Sweeney) and Irvin Stevens. David lived in King of Prussia, Pa for the last 25 years, formerly of Conshohocken and Bryn Mawr where he grew up. He was a member of St. Augustine RC Church of Bridgeport. He started his career working as a Truck Mechanic with G. L. Sayre, then as a was a self-employed Truck Driver with DS Trucking and also worked as a Truck Driver with Schultz Enterprises. He volunteered with the Conshohocken Soap Box Derby for many years and was especially proud of his children when they raced. He was an avid Motorcyclist and supported toys for tots. He most enjoyed spending time with his family especially spending weekends on the beach in Ocean City, NJ. In addition to his wife, Margaret, he is survived by his children,Meghan (& Robert) Bonkoski of King of Prussia, Scott Stevens of King of Prussia, Kelly Stevens of King of Prussia; brother, Francis Stevens of Oaklyn, NJ; sister, Beth Ann Stevens of King of Prussia; grandson,Maxamilian Bonkoski. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Patrick Stevens. His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 10, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the St. Augustine RC Church, 464 Ford Street, Bridgeport, Pa. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken and Friday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 A.M. at the Church. Interment will be private in St. Augustine Cemetery.
