Obituary of Albert J. Milakeve
Albert J. Milakeve, age 70 of Collegeville, died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Columbia Cottage of Collegeville.
Husband of the late Antoinette (Angelilli) Milakeve.
Born in Lower Merion, PA on December 14, 1943, he was a son of the late Alice I. (Bowman) and John Milakeve.
Albert has lived in Collegeville for the last 3 years, formerly of Lafayette Hilla and Conshohocken.
He was a member of SS. Cosmas & Damian RC Church of Conshohocken.
He served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War, where he received the Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, & National Defense Service Medal.
He worked as a steel worker with Bethlehem Steel.
Albert was a life member of Plymouth Fire Company, and a member of Conshohocken VFW #1074.
He is survived by his sons, Albert Milakeve of Plainville, Ill, and Paul Milakeve of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Harry Milakeve of Ft. Myers, FL, Frank Milakeve of Conshohocken; sisters, Betsy Profera of Billings, MO, Janet Bishop of Conshohocken; granddaughter, Emily Rose.
Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother John Milakeve, Jr. , and two sisters Thelma Greidus & Sandra Fusco.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the SS. Cosmas & Damian RC Church, 209 West Fifth Avenue & Maple Street, Conshohocken. Msgr. Philip C. Ricci will be officiating.
Friends may call Friday Morning from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM at the Church.
Interment St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken.
