Obituary of Mary Ann C. Horn

Mary Ann C. (Bowe) Horn of Conshohocken, Pa. passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center in East Norriton, Pa. with her family by her side. She was 85. Mary Ann was the loving wife of the late Harrison Horn. Born in West Conshohocken, Pa. on June 4, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Martin A. & Catherine (McCloskey) Bowe. She was a member of St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church of Conshohocken and she has been residing in Conshohocken for over 60 years. She was a 1947 graduate of the former West Conshohocken High School. Mary Ann enjoyed trips to the Atlantic City Casinos and watching game shows on television. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing and she really liked her bacon. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends She is survived by two sons, Gary T. Horn of Conshohocken, Pa. and Donald M. (Paulette) Horn of King of Prussia, Pa.; two brothers, Thomas Bowe of Conshohocken, Pa. and Gerald Bowe Horsham, Pa.; three sisters, Margaret Palmer of Conshohocken, Pa., Elizabeth Kelley of Conshohocken, Pa. and Genevieve Russell of West Conshohocken, Pa.; grandchildren Colleen, Jason, Brian, Alisha and Matthew and a great grandson, Bryson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Larry Horn; brothers Edward, Lawrence and Martin Bowe; and a Sister, Catherine Bengen. A funeral Mass for Mary Ann will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew's RC Church Third Avenue & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken. Rev. Thomas Heron will be officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and on Thursday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.
