Obituary of Mary M. Angelini

Mary M. Angelini, age 95, of East Norriton, PA passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, August 19, 2022.

 

She was born in Norristown, PA on November 16, 1926, the daughter of the late Pompeo and Carmella (Amoroso) DiRocco.

 

Mary was a lifelong Norristown resident.  She was a parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church.  She worked in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Montgomery County.  Mary loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed being together for Sunday dinners, cooking lessons in the kitchen, and in her younger years being down the Jersey shore during the summer with her family. She was talented at sewing and crocheting, and loved to spend time playing cards with family and friends. 

 

She was the wife of the late Vincent L. Angelini.  

 

She is survived by two daughters, Camilla Matozzo and Gerilyn "Gerri" (& Michael) Gravinese, both of Norristown; son in-law, Joseph F. Matozzo; six grandchildren, Tara Mehl (& Martin), Danielle Rolley (& Jim),  Joseph V. Matozzo, Philip Gravinese (& Lauren), Vincent Gravinese (& Sarah), and David Gravinese (& Meghan); and 14 great grandchildren, Carley, Jimmy, Gianna, Gabby, Kelsey, Holly, Jayden, Aidan, Delaney, Rory, Nolan, Brendan, Maisie and Lyra.     

 

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother,  John DiRocco.  

 

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM from St. Paul's RC Church, 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown, PA 19401.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday morning from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Church. 

 

Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.  

 

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Paul's RC Church, 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
