Obituary of John Julien Hunt

John Julien Hunt

John Julien Hunt, 82, of Flourtown, PA passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Chestnut Hill Hospital.

He was born in Bellevue, Ohio on April 18, 1940, the son of the late William and Mary J. (Lonsway) Hunt.

He was a resident of Flourtown for the past 20 years after moving there from Upper Dublin, PA.

John was a car enthusiast. He owned numerous Miatas, Mustangs, Corvairs and MGs. He was a member of the Delaware Valley Miata Car Club and the Delaware Valley Classic MG Club. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

After graduating from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, he received a commission in the United States Air Force where he served for 20 years. After the Air Force, he spent 20 years at the Naval Aviation Supply Office in Philadelphia.

He was the husband of Patricia Carol (Sauer) Hunt.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, John Mark (Tara) Hunt of Phoenix, AZ and William Bradford (Emily) Hunt of Phoenixville, PA, and three grandchildren, Olivia, Maddie and Presley.

He was predeceased  by two brothers, William and Thomas Hunt and sister, Mary Jean Bauman.

His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
