Joe was a cousin who felt more like a brother. Every summer he would spend weeks with Grandmom Zimmy and he and I and cousin George would find plenty of action in our small town. We'd camp out on Grandmom's garage porch and goof, laugh and tell stories all night long. He was a ball of energy with a little snarky humor and I always admired my Big City Cousin even though he was only three months older! RIP cuz. We love you. Jerry Taylor

My brother Joe was a great big brother. I always looked up to him as a little sister does. When I started my career, he guided me in many ways. He was wise, funny, and hard-headed. I will miss him very much.
