Frances M. Treisbach, 79, a resident of Jeffersonville, PA, passed away on December 15, 2023, following a long history of cardiac issues.

Born September 29, 1944, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late George J. Treisbach and Frances (Morris) Treisbach. She was a 1962 graduate of Ambler Senior High School and earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. After teaching vocal music for several years in the Norristown Area School District, she transitioned to a business career and earned a Master of Business Administration from LaSalle University. Thereafter, she moved to Harrisburg, PA, with the Thornburgh administration and ultimately retired from Pennsylvania's Department of Transportation as an analyst in the Office of Planning.  She continued her musical career throughout her life, beginning singing at four years of age with her church's children's choir and working as a professional church musician with responsibilities which included singing, directing choirs and playing the organ and piano. She retired from her musical career after more than 70 years' work.

Miss Treisbach was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of the Wissahickon Valley Historical Society and the Montgomery County Historical Society. She enjoyed travelling and researching local history.

Miss Treisbach is survived by her brother, George J. Treisbach, Jr., of Harrisburg and Copper Mountain, CO, as well as many cousins, most notably Alan and Mary Treisbach who were very helpful to her in her last years.
