Obituary of Beverly Ann Zapata

Beverly Ann Zapata, age 77, of Lansdale, PA entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 during the Octave of Christmas.

She was born in Queens, New York on June 26, 1946, the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Perkins) Passarella. 

Beverly was raised in Elmont, NY and lived most of her life in Lansdale, PA.  She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Corpus Christi RC Church.  She had a long standing career as a Registered Nurse working in the Intensive Care Unit at North Penn Hospital.  She earned the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Designation.  She also volunteered for the American Heart Association and hosted their annual Cardiac Arrest Fundraisers. 

She was the wife of the late Joseph Zapata with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

She is survived by twin daughters, Jennifer D. (and her husband William D.) Grimmer and Michelle Z. (and her husband Daniel J.) Haley, both of Collegeville; and six grandchildren, Mackenzie, Victoria, Dylan, Gianna, Makayla and Sophia. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM in St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA.  A Funeral Mass will be offered Saturday at 12:00 PM in St. Eleanor Church celebrated by Fr. Stephen DeLacy. Her daughters are requesting all attendees to please wear Christmas colors, including red and green, to honor her passing during the Octave of Christmas.

Interment will immediately follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
