Walter has lived most of his life in Cedar Heights. He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa Walter also went to Conshohocken Catholic School, and MontCo Technical School. He worked as an inspector with Crompco of Plymouth Meeting, Pa before he became disabled. Walter enjoyed football, and was very helpful looking after his family and friends.
