Joseph has lived in Norristown, Pa for over 45 years, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa where he was born and raised He was a very active member of St. Patrick's RC Church of Norristown, Pa, where he was a founding member of the Patrician Society and helped with many fund raising projects, the church named their hall McLaughlin Hall in his honor Joseph was a Sargeant in the US Army during the Korean War and recieved Occupational Medal for Germany and the National Defense Service Medal He worked as a Manager with Sears at Logan Square and Upper Darby stores He enjoyed Railroading, traveling and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren
