Obituary of Evelyn F. Booz

Evelyn F. ( Clegg ) Booz , 100, of Norristown, Pa passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2016. She was born in Phoenixville, PA on June 5, 1916. Evelyn has lived in Norristown, Pa all of her life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was the Sunday school teacher and Haws Avenue United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She was a graduate of Norristown High School, class of 1933. Evelyn was a voice student of Dr. Catherine Morgan for several years and sang in several churches in the Norristown area. Daughter of the late Walter & Evva ( Hartman ) Clegg. Beloved wife of the late Allen S. Booz. Survivors include her Son: Walter I. (& Debbie ) Booz East Norriton PA Daughter: Barbara L. (& Donald) Harrington Pottstown PA Also Survived By 8 Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 3 daughters R. Beatrice Howard, Eleanor Duemig, Betty B. Biggs. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 12:00 PM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. Friends may call on Monday morning from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery Co., West Norriton, Pa.
