I was extremely fortunate to work and to know Al. He was an incredible engineer with a passion to share his knowledge with others. Al was a true gentlemen. He will be missed, but not forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy. Condolences from the Danek family and his family at Linde. Bob Danek

I was lucky to know Mr. Primas when I started working at Linde back in 1990. His knowledge and memory were phenomenal! I learned a lot from him and so others at Linde. I was so happy that he let me paint a part of his plane model. We will miss you very much, Mr. Primas!

George, thanks for posting these great pix...the one where Uncle Al and Aunt Nancy are in front of the Christmas tree on the right, is that your Mom and Dad on the left?

The other photo outside a white house is taken in Alden at the Primas farm house. Left to right are Uncle Al, Aunt Nancy, Aunt Lois and Uncle Floyd Stutzman, Grandma Primas, Uncle Herb Gross, Cousin Diane Gross, and Aunt Betty Gross. The photo would have been around 1957 because Grandma Primas passed on soon after that. Aunt Betty was the oldest, then my Mom Grace, then Uncle Al, and Aunt Loey was the "baby".

In front of the house with brown shutters, Of course I see Aunt Nancy and Uncle Al on the right. Aunt Nancy is holding "Rebel", her Boston Terrier. I believe I recognize your grandmother in the middle? Not sure about the others. I'm sorry I don't have any photos to contribute.

As a little kid, Uncle Al got me started with building model planes and then flying them. He was always very patient with me when I was behaving myself, but when I misbehaved he straightened me out right quick, which was a very great mercy because I had some bad tendencies shall we say! Later in life I visited the Valley Forge flying club with Uncle Al. I miss him so much and I always will pray for him and Aunt Nancy.
