Obituary of John A. Muscara

John A. Muscara of East Norriton, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Towne Manor West Nursing Center in East Norriton. He was 82. Husband of 55 years of Margaret (O'Brien) Muscara. John was a retired Journeyman Lineman of 35 years with IBEW Local 126. He retired in 1992. A son of the late Irene Muscara, he was born in Kulpsville, PA on April 10, 1930. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War, serving with honors as a Sergeant of the US Marine Corps. He was an avid sports fan and played Semu professional Football with the Kulpsville Owls, Lansdale Falcons, and the Elizabeth City Pirates of North Carolina while he was in the Marine Corps. He enjoyed golf, later in life. He was an avid story teller and a man of many sayings. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and he will be sadly missed. In addition to his wife, Margaret, he is wurvived by his sons, John A. Muscara, Jr. of Norristown, Dr. William E. (Christy) Muscara of Lansdale, Theodore E. (Kim) Muscara of Manchester, NH, and Joseph P. (Kristine) Muscara of Toluca Lake. CA; and his daughter, Ann Marie (Jeff) Fox of Annapolis, MD; four grandchildren, Corey Jon, William II, Luke and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Muscara. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for John on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. from the St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton. Friends may call Saturday from 9:45 to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken.
