Obituary of Emma Fedeli

Emma Fedeli, 95, of Collegeville, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 5, 1921, the daughter of the late Domenico and Sylvia (Luscié) Leomporra. Emma has lived in Collegeville for the last 3 years, formerly of East Norriton and Lafayette Hill, Pa., where she lived most of her adult life. She was a member of St. Eleanor's RC Church, and a former member of St. Philip Neri RC Church of Lafayette Hill. Emma was a graduate of John W. Hallahan High School. She was a homemaker and also worked as a Medical technician. Emma and her husband were co-owners of the Marquee Motel in North Wildwood from 1961 to 1981. Emma was the beloved wife of the late Settimio J. Fedeli, Sr. Survivors include her son, Settimio ( & Nancy ) Fedeli, Jr. of Collegeville; daughter, Caroline ( & her fiancée John Costa) of Norristown; two brothers, Dr. Remo Leomporra of Cinnaminson, NJ and Romolo ( & Lillian) Leomporra of Marlton, NJ; and two sisters-in-law, Palma and Carol Leomporra; four granddaughters, Kassandra, Camryn, Reyna, and Gianna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Emma was preceded in death by two brothers, The Honorable Tullio Leomporra and Domenic Leomporra; and a sister-in-law, Barbara “Bobbie” Leomporra. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11 AM from St. Philip Neri RC Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Friends may call on Friday evening, November 4 from 7 – 9 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428 and on Saturday morning from 10 – 10:45 AM at the church. Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
