Obituary of Albert H. Reichert

Albert H. Reichert, age 87 of Jeffersonville, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his home. Husband of Dorothy (Wood) Withers. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 7, 1925, son of the late Gertrude (Lukert) and Albert H. Reichert. Albert has lived in Jeffersonville for over 50 years. He was a US Army World War II veteran where he served with Company F 377th Infantry and received the EAMETO Ribbon, WD Circle, 2 Battle Stars on EAMETO Ribbon, ETO Ribbon WD Circle, and he was wounded on December 9, 1944 in Germany and received a Purple Heart Medal. He worked as a wireman with Brown-Boverian of Chalfont, Pa. He enjoyed playing golf. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Albert "Skip" (Chris) Reichert of Troy, VA, Kirk (Stephanie) Reichert of Avondale, PA, Michael Withers of Birdsboro, PA; daughter, Kimberly Ann (Gordon) Miller of Pottstown; sister, Lillian James of Marlton, NJ. Also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, George Reichert. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Clergy: The Rev. Richard A. Olson, II officiating. Friends may call Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suit 102 Philadelphia, Pa 19106.
