Obituary of Pearl Duckett

Pearl Duckett, age 68 of Conshohocken, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Kindred Hospital of Havertown. Wife of the late Arthur R. Duckett. Born in St. Matthew's, SC on August 29, 1944, she was a daugher of the late Emma (Pondexter) and Willie Noble. Pearl has lived in Conshohocken since she was three months old when her family moved from South Carolina. She was a member St. Paul's Baptist Church where she was very active and Past Treasurer. Pearl work with McDonald's Restaurants in Public Relations before becoming Borough Secretary/ Treasurer with the Borough of Conshohocken where she worked for 18 years before retiring in 2009. She was on the Mary Wood Park Committee. Pearl is survived by a son, Leslie J. (Heidi) Duckett of Norristown; daughter, Amy (Andre) Alexander of Conshohocken; sister, Carrie B. Duckett of Trappe; half sister, Annie Green of Philadelphia; half brother, Willie Revnel of Philadelphia. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 2, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the St. Paul's Baptist Church, East 3rd Ave & Hallowell Street, Conshohocken. Clergy: The Rev. Walter Johnson officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Church. Interment will be in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
