Obituary of Faith E. Barber

Faith E. Barber, 90, of Lansdale, PA, passed away on February 26, 2018. She was born in New Haven, CT on August 3, 1927, the daughter of Louis and Amy (Price) Roberts. Faith has been living in Pennsylvania since 1995, and has been a resident of the Dock Woods Community for the past 8 years. She formerly lived in East Haven, CT and Guilford, CT. Faith was an active member of the Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene in PA and the Branford Evangelical Free Church in CT. She had a heart for those in need and this moved her to service by reaching out to people both inside and outside the church. Faith was the beloved wife of the late Russell J. Barber. Survivors include her two sons, Russell ( & Sandy ) Barber and Stephen ( & Loretta ) Barber; four sisters, Virginia Slavin, Marjorie Garrison, Carol Shultz, and Winifred Garrison; granddaughter, Laura Makela; two grandsons, Joseph and Russell Barber; And two great grandsons, Philip and Jackson. Along with her husband and parents, Faith was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Roberts. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 10:45 AM in the Chapel at Dock Woods, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapel. Interment will take place on Saturday, March 3 at 10:30AM in Branford Center Cemetery, Branford, CT. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Living Branches Foundation at Dock Woods, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446. Faith has been living in Pennsylvania since 1995, and has been a resident of the Dock Woods Community for the past 8 years. She formerly lived in Gilford, CT and East Haven, CT. Faith was a member of Fairview Village Church where she participated in the Bible Study Group. A faithful Christian, Faith ministered to many and had a heart for those in need.
