Obituary of Steven J. Beckley

Steven J. Beckley, 63, of Schwenksville, PA passed away peacefully at home, after a brave battle with cancer, on Friday, June 8, 2018 with his wife and sons by his side. He was the loving husband of 33+ years of Nancy E. Woodrow and devoted father to Samuel R. and Benjamin D. Beckley. Born in Yonkers, NY on March 4, 1955, to S. Elizabeth (Belt) Beckley and the late Warren R. Beckley, Steve was raised in Old Greenwich, CT before moving to Ambler, PA in High School. A 1973 graduate of Wissahickon High School he was employed with HD Supply Company in Plymouth Meeting, PA, until his illness. Steve had resided in Perkiomen Twp. for the past 26 years. Steve is lovingly remembered by: his sister, Susan Miller, brother, Clinton Beckley, his wife's brothers David and Peter Woodrow and his wife's parents Robert and Ann Woodrow. In addition Steve is survived by nieces, Megan, Lauren, Paige and Chloe and nephew Ian. A Memorial Funeral Service for Steven will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 251 Perkiomen Avenue, Schwenksville, PA. His family will be receiving guests to pay their respects at 10:00 AM. The Service will begin at 11:00 AM followed by a reception in the Church Social Hall. Interment will be private.
