Obituary of Joseph M. Bonner, Sr.

Joseph M. Bonner, Sr., 87, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on Sunday August 5, 2018.


He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 31, 1931.


Joseph was a longtime resident of Blue Bell, PA. He was a loving and devoted Husband and Father. One of his
greatest assets was his strong faith in God, and an active member of Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church located in
Plymouth Meeting, PA.


He graduated from Roman Catholic High School, class of 1949. Where he was active with the Alumni Association
and also graduated from LaSalle College.


Mr. Bonner served in the US Air Force during the Korean War where he received the Good Conduct Medal,
National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and United Nations Service Medal.


He worked as a manager with Univac - Unisys of Blue Bell, PA. He later retired in 1988.


Son of the late Cornelius & Rose (McAninley) Bonner.

Daughter : Colleen Wateskie Wilkes Barre PA
Daughter : Beth Ann Walsh Harleysville PA
Daughter : Maddy Aten East Norriton PA
Brother : Charles Bonner San Diego CA
Also survived by 28 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sons Joseph M. Bonner, Jr. and Thomas J. Bonner, 3 brothers John, Cornelius & Hugh and 3 sisters Mary, Madeline and Ann.


His Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church 3050 Walton & Township Line Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.


Friends may call on Friday Morning from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Church.


Interment will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
