Obituary of John T. "Jack" Waters

John T. "Jack" Waters Sr., age 84 of Audubon, PA, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Einstein Medical Center Montgomery of East Norriton. Husband of the late Kathleen (McCabe) Waters. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA on October 29, 1929, he was the son of George and Blanche (Rhoads) Waters. Jack has been living at Shannondell in Audubon for the last 6 years, formerly of Jeffersonville, where he had lived most of his life He was one of the founding families at Visitation BVM RC Church of Trooper. Jack served in the US Marine Corps and he worked with Alan Wood Steel Company, then worked with PECO in Sales and Customer Service for 39 years before he retired. Jack enjoyed watching old movies and traveling especially with his family going to the Jersey Shore, Disney and Ireland and he also enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events. In his final hours, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were with him He is survived by a son, John T. "Jack" (& Vanessa) Waters, Jr. of Birchrunville, PA; daughters,Kathleen (& Michael) Blake of East Norriton, Maureen (& Scott ) Arbaugh of Elverson, PA, Colleen Galie of Limerick, Kristine Waters of Jeffersonville; brother, Richard Waters of Brenham, TX; sisters, Marie Augustine of Port Charlotte, FL and Fran Reid of Gilbertsville. Also survived by 13 Grandchildren Kristopher, Ryan, Courtney, Devin, Griffin, Jordan, Jacqueline, Shelby, Morgan, Austin, Jackson, Colton, & Amelia, and 2 Great Grandchildren Aubrey & Payton. His Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 16, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the Visitation B.V.M. RC Church, 196 North Trooper Road, Norristown. Friends may call Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401 and Monday Morning from 9:00 to 9:45 A.M. at the Church Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton.
