Obituary of Dorothy M. Johnson

Dorothy M. (Burns) Johnson, age 89 of Royersford, died Monday, April 28, 2014 at Parkhouse at Providence Point of Royersford. Wife of the late William G.J. Johnson. Born in Conshohocken, PA on January 19, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Mary (Calhoun) and Robert Burns. Dorothy had been living at the Parkhouse at Providence Point in Royersford, formerly of Plymouth Valley and Conshohocken. She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by a son, Michael "Mickey" Johnson of Venice, FL; daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Loughery of Trappe, Mary Beth (& John) Adiletto of Trappe, and Kathryn "Kate" (& Richard) Connell of Pulaski, NY formerly of Downingtown; sister, Elizabeth Cosgrove of West Chester. Also survived By 9 grandchildren, & 12 great grandchildren. Along with her husband & parents she was preceded in death by a sister Mary Burton, and 2 brothers John "Tex" Burns, & Robert V. Burns. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken. Fr. J. Thomas Heron will be officiating. Friends may call Saturday Morning from 9:00 to 10:00AM at the Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Bridgeport Elementary School PTC, 900 Bush Street Bridgeport, Pa 19405.
