Obituary of Mary K. Zabroski

Zabroski, Mary K. "Mame" (Kushla) of Conshohocken passed away on June 13,2014 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She was 87 years old. Born in Cedar Heights, Whitemarsh Township, on November 5, 1926 she was the daughter of the late John and Malania (Wrobel) Kushla. Mary, who was referred to as "Gram", was a life member of the Lincoln Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Legion of Mary, and a former sodality member of Ss. Peter and Paul Ukranian Catholic Church. She enjoyed her trips to the casinos and , especially , cherished the visits made to Las Vegas. She always appreciated the time in Cape May with her nephew, Robert Nowak and his wife, Elaine. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; the late Stanley G. Zabroski, her brothers; the late Walter and Joseph Kushla, and her sister; the late Anna Nowak. Mary is survived by her daughter; Melanie A. (James) Sugalski, her sister; Jane Sherman, her two grandchildren; James Jr.(Jen) and Heather Marie (John). Also survived by her chihuahua and companion, Tira. Relatives and Friends invited to her viewing Thursday evening, June 19, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Moore, Snear and Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. In addition, a viewing will be held on Friday morning at SS. Peter and Paul Ukranian Catholic Church, 519 Union Avenue, Bridgeport, PA 19405, from 9:00 to 9:50 AM followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Ukranian Catholic Cemetery, King of Prussia, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: SS. Peter and Paul Ukranian Catholic Church, 519 Union Avenue, Bridgeport, PA 19405.
