Obituary of Florence Bald

Florence C. Bald, 89, of Norristown, Pa. died Monday, May 26, 2014 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Norristown in 1978. She worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, General Electric, and owned a gift store called the Station Shop of Haddonfield. She was a member of the Hawes Avenue United Methodist Church of Norristown and the Halford Garden Club. She is survived by her sister, Doris B. Newell of Williamsburg, Virginia; niece Jane D. Newell of Richmond, Virginia; nephew John D. Newell (wife Linda) of Fairfax Station, Virginia and her beloved dog, MacDermitt. A Memorial Service will be held at Hawes Avenue Methodist Church on Saturday, 28 June at 12PM. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, Hawes Avenue United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice.
