VIRGINIA F. GEISER, 96, OF POTTSTOWN Virginia F. (Grandy) Geiser, 96, of Pottstown, PA, died Wednesday February 4, 2015 at Keystone Villa of Douglassville, PA. She was the wife of the late Herbert L. Geiser Sr. Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 9, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Florence V. (Taylor) Grandy. Virginia has lived in Pottstown most of her life. She moved to Pottstown as a young girl. She was the Tax Collector with Upper Pottsgrove Twp., and had also worked with Systematic Inventories for over 20 years. Virginia enjoyed traveling, playing volleyball and tennis, and she most enjoyed spending time with her family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Fry, Pottstown, PA; son, Larry (Dorothy) Geiser, Reading, PA; son, Herbert (Carol) Geiser Jr., Mertztown, PA; son, Jeffrey Geiser, Doylestown, PA; daughter, Karen(George) Eckert Gordon, Pottstown, PA; daughter, Andrea (Joe) Nicoline, Pottstown, PA, and son, Scott (Georgann) Geiser, Pottstown, PA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, a son–in-law Richard Eckert Jr. and two great-grandchildren Richard Eckert III and Rachel Geiser. Services and interment will be private in Highland Memorial.
