Obituary of Jean Ostroski

Jean “Jeanie” (McNeill) Ostroski of King Of Prussia, PA passed away peacefully Monday February 9, 2015 at Paoli Memorial Hospital in Paoli, Pa. She was 86. Jean was the loving wife of the late Edward J. Ostroski. Born on September 22, 1928, she was a daughter of the late John and Clara (Collins) McNeill. Born and raised in Bridgeport, PA, she has resided in King of Prussia, Pa since 1954. She was employed as a cashier with the former A&P Super Market of King of Prussia, Pa., retiring in 1975, and she previously worked at the former James Lees Carpet Mill of Bridgeport from 1946-1952. She was a member of the former St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church of Bridgeport, and she was a 1946 graduate of the former Bridgeport High School. She was an avid and lifelong fan of the Football Program of the University of Notre Dame. She enjoyed vacationing with her family at the Jersey shore at North Wildwood New Jersey and she always enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her Daughter Lynda (Robert) Nuttall, Son Edward J. Ostroski, Daughter Barbara (Rick) Neve, Daughter Susan Ostroski, Sister Mary Giangiulio, Grandchildren Edward, Alison & Melanie. She was also survived by several loving Nieces & Nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen “Kassie” Reid. A Funeral Mass for Jean will be celebrated on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Augustine RC Worship Site, 464 Ford Street (Corner of Ford & Rambo Streets), Bridgeport, Pa. 19405. Rev. Robert J. Murray O.S.A. will be officiating. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:45AM at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, Rt 202, King Of Prussia, PA.
