Obituary of James "Ken" Strange

James "Ken" Strange, 78. of East Norriton, Pa., passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on October 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Helen (Travers) and Everett J. Strange. Ken has been living in East Norriton for the last 47 years, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa where he was born and raised. He was a retired photography & video specialist. He was a member of St. Titus RC Church of East Norriton, Pa. He was an Army Veteran where he received Good Conduct Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Ken was a self-employed Photographer and he also was Audio Visual Assistant Director with Textile University, then he worked as a computer technician helping small businessesHe served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for East Norriton Twp. for over 20 years. In addition to his wife, Rose Ann (McQuire) Strange, Ken is survived by his daughter, Kelly (& Timothy) Barker of Newtown Square, Pa.; son, Kevin (& Elizabeth Ely) Strange of Springfield, Pa.; sister, Karen Moulder of Middletown, Vt.; three grandchildren, Katelyn Barker, Alexa Barker, and Ryan Strange; and a sister-in-law, Mary McGuire of Upper Darby, Pa. He was predeceased by his parents. His Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 10:30 AM from the St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, Pa. 19403. with Fr. Leonard A. Lewandowski officiating. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Church. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken, Pa.
