Obituary of Robert E. Sneddon Sr.

Robert E. Sneddon Sr., of Coral Springs, Fla., and formerly of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., passed away suddenly on Sunday May 24, 2015 at his home in Coral Springs, Florida. He was 89. Born in Patton, Pa. (Cambria County) on August 2, 1925, he was a son of the late William and Gladys (Haines) Sneddon. He was the loving husband of Marjorie (Hower) Sneddon. He was a retired Accountant with the Kaiser Manufacturing Company and the former E J Lavino Refractory Company of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. He has been residing in Coral Springs Florida for the past three years. He also lived in Blue Bell, Pa., and he lived most of his life in Plymouth Meeting, Pa. He was a member of the Plymouth Meeting E. C. Church and the Charity Lodge 190 F. & A. M. Masonic Lodge of Jeffersonville, Pa. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He will be sadly missed by his loving family. Besides his wife, he is survived by son, Robert (Kristin) Sneddon; daughter, Renee Sneddon; and granddaughters, Courtney (Michael) Mesmer and Kelly (Todd) O'Toole. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Supplee & Pauline Hassinger and by his brother, Donald Sneddon. A Funeral Service for Robert will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Pastor Norm Dixon will be officiating. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 to 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
