Obituary of Richard P. Clifford

Richard P. Clifford, age 58 years, of West Norriton, passed away on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at Paoli Memorial Hospital.

He passed as a result of a bicycle accident on September 14, 2018.

Richard was born in Gary, Indiana on Thursday April 28, 1960, son of the late Lawrence J. and the late Elizabeth ( Fobel ) Clifford.

He has lived in West Norriton for over 15 years, formerly of Plymouth Meeting, PA where he grew up.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church of Norristown, PA and a former member of Epiphany RC Church of Plymouth Meeting, PA.

He graduated from Archbishop Kennedy High School, class of 1978. He also graduated from Temple University, Class of 1982 with a bachelors Degree in Accounting.

Richard worked as a accountant with Zuckerman Honickman, Inc. of King of Prussia, PA for the past 35 years..

Rick enjoyed skiing and bicycling.

Rick was a member and longtime Secretary of Wissahickon Ski Club of Lafayette Hill, PA.  He was also a member of the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia.

Rick was a former Secretary of the Plymouth Township Zoning Board.

He is survived by a sister Mary (& John) DiRosato of West Norriton.

His niece Stephanie (& David) Vernacchio of Plymouth Meeting, PA and nephews Michael (& Meagan) DiRosato of Baton Rouge, LA and Christopher DiRosato of Washington, DC
and his great nieces Clare & Cara Vernacchio.

Also survived by his step Mother Joan (Cunningham) Clifford of Plymouth Meeting, PA.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

There will be a Viewing on Friday Morning from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will follow in St. Matthew's Cemetery of Conshohocken, PA.
