Obituary of Andrew I. Kane

Andrew I. Kane, age 86 years, of Blue Bell, passed away on Thursday January 3, 2019

Andrew was born in Philadelphia, Pa on March 20, 1932, son of the late Joseph H. and the late Susanna ( Hegarty ) Kane.

He has lived in Blue Bell, Pa for the last 30 years, formerly of West Norriton, Pa and Chestnut Hill, Pa where he was born and raised.

Andy was attending St. Helena RC Church and Mary Mother of the Redeemer churches with his daughters, and a former member of Visitation BVM RC Church, where he was very active with the CYO program.

He served as a Sergeant in the US Marines Corp. during the Korean War were he received the National Defense Service Medal with 1 Star, Korean Service Medal & The United Nations Service Medal.

Andrew worked as a Real Estate Salesman and Land Developer. And a former member of West Norriton Planning Commission.

He enjoyed playing golf, and was an avid sports fan especially Notre Dame, and a member of the Commercial club.

Beloved husband of the late Jean B. (Mizzer) Kane.

He is survived by his daughters Susan K. (& Anthony) Taormina of Worcester, Pa and Patricia K. (& Glenn) Martin of Ambler, Pa and 5 Grandchildren Andrew, Douglas, Katey (& Brad) Caglia, Matthew and P.J.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Helena RC Church, 1489 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, Pa 19422.

There will be a visitation on Friday Morning from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Church.

Andrew's Interment will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa.
