Obituary of Luke Anthony Porretti

Luke A. Porretti, age 22, of Schwenksville, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at his home.  

Luke was born in Huntingdon Valley, PA on September 11, 1996, a son of Rosemary J. (Lydon) Porretti and the late Theodore T. Porretti.

Luke lived most of his life in Hatfield, PA.  He graduated in 2015 from North Penn High School where he participated in the Air Force JROTC.  Luke passed away following a three year, hard-fought battle with opioid addiction.  He will be dearly missed.    

Luke is survived by his mother, Rosemary Porretti ( & Ken Hudanich); sister, Samantha ( & Daniel) Ferry; brother, Blase Porretti; nephew, Jameson Ferry; step-sister, Kailey Hudanich; as well as his girlfriend, Anita Kruze.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore T. Porretti in 2007.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday evening, January 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main St., Trappe, PA 19426 and on Thursday morning January 31, from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426.  Luke's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.  Interment will be held privately at a later date.  

The family would like to thank both Caron and Little Creek Lodge Recovery Programs for the care they offered Luke and for their efforts to help him recover.  In lieu of flowers, Luke's family would appreciate memorial contributions which may be made at www.caron.org or www.littlecreekrecovery.org
