Kathy has been a resident of Highland Manor in Schwenksville for 10 years, formerly of Northeast Philadelphia. She was a former member of St. Martha's Church in Philadelphia where she was active. She had a great personality and loved making others laugh. She enjoyed playing cards, soap operas, and eating chocolate candy.

Obituary of Kathleen Maciunas

Kathleen Maciunas, age 79 of Schwenksville, PA, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Parkhouse Providence Pointe. She is survived by her son, Charles (Audrey) Maciunas of Collegeville, PA and her daughter, Suzanne (Brian) Curry of Bensalem, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christine, Brian, Shawn and Kevin Curry. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kathy spent most of her adult life in Northeast Philadelphia, where she was an active member of St. Martha Parish, before moving to Highland Manor in Schwenksville in 2005. While at Highland Manor, she made many friends and touched many lives. Kathy was an avid card player who loved chess, crossword puzzles and classic country music. Her warmth, sincerity and infectious laugh could always be counted on to brighten the day of those around her. Her Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 W. Main St., Trappe, PA 19426. Friends may call Friday from 10-11AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 403, Plymouth Meeting, Pa 19462.
