Richard A. Dean, 74, of Jeffersonville, PA passed away on January 24, 2016. He was born in Norristown, PA on August 19, 1941. Richard has lived in Jeffersonville, PA since 2009, formerly of East Norriton, PA He was a member of All Saints' Episcopal Church of Norristown, PA He attended Burnside Elementary School, Stewart Middle School, and Norristown High School class of 1959, and Graduated from Ursinus College Class of 1963 He served in the US Army National Guard with the First Battalion, 111th Infantry, 28th Infantry Division as the official photographer Richard owned & Operated Richard A. Dean Painting Contractors for 35 years In 1974 he was inducted in Ursinus College Hall of Fame for Wrestling, and in 1982 he was inducted into Norristown Area High School Hall of Champions, for Soccer, Baseball, and Wrestling and was the first N.H.S. wrestler to advance to the State Championships and was undefeated in District One his Junior year. Son of the late - Dick & Ann (Sachaczenski) Dean He is survived by his: Beloved Wife of 51 years: Susan (Shannon) Dean Jeffersonville PA Daughter: Carol Shannon (& Brian) Harrity Jeffersonville PA Daughter: Linda Ann (& Larry) Fiorini Sanatoga PA Brother: Kenneth (& Sandra) Dean Harleysville PA Sister: Diane (& Louis) Palermo Trabuco Canyon CA Sister: Barbara Rost East Norriton PA Sister In Law: Frances Dean East Norriton PA Also survived by 4 Grandchildren Brianna Jane Harrity, Carley Shannon Harrity, Dean Gillen Fiorini, & Taylor Lauren Fiorini and Many Nieces & Nephews Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James S. Dean His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the All Saints' Episcopal Church, 535 Haws Avenue, Norristown, PA 19401. Clergy: Mother Sandra Etemad will be officiating. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11: 00 AM at the Church. Interment will be private.
