Obituary of Adeline R. Thompson

Adeline R. Thompson, age 75, of Norristown, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at her home after a battle with cancer.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 2, 1944, the daughter of the late Joseph and Adeline (Duggan) Rafferty.

Adeline has been living in Norristown for 15 years, formerly of King of Prussia, PA and Chicago, IL.

Adeline enjoyed bingo, road trips, and antique stores.  She loved her cats and also enjoyed feeding birds.  

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Thompson (& Mark) of Eagleville; son, Geoffrey Thompson (& Jennifer) of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Brian (& Gale) Rafferty of Chicago, IL; sister, Irene Rafferty of Bonita Springs, FL; sister, Susan (& Michael) Curran of Grovertown, IN; as well as nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  

She is also survived by her loving companion, Dr. Jan Edward Bixler, PhD. 

Along with her parents, Adeline was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph "Joey" Rafferty. 

Services will be held by the family at a later date.
