He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on October 3, 1942, the son of the late William L. Keyser, Sr. and the late Beatrice (McCord) Keyser.

Bill was raised in Whitemarsh Twp. and for the past 41 years lived in Jeffersonville.  He honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a member of the Expeditionary Forces during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was a retired PA State Corrections Officer.

“Wild Bill” enjoyed his beach home in Rehoboth Beach, DE with many years of surf fishing and listening to his favorite local band, the Lower Case Blues.

He enjoyed watching birds and educating others about them.  He built bird houses and feeders and also enjoyed gardening and music. He loved his dog Stevie and most of all loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Karen A. (Foley) Keyser of Jeffersonville; two daughters, Kimberly (& Uriah) Lessig of Bechtelsville and Kelley Been of St. Clair; two sons, William L. (& Faye) Keyser, III of Collegeville and Jason (& Jennifer) Keyser of Upper Pottsgrove; as well as multiple grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Blair Keyser.
